All core products can be delivered on a purely commercial basis or structured to support a regulated or Basel III framework (regulatory solutions are provided exclusively through NFG Capital’s regulated partners).

NFG Capital’s products are deployed at its discretion, in connection with opportunities that it determines:

  • meet its credit risk performance criteria;
  • do not breach NFG Capital’s risk appetite under the ‘worst-case indemnity risk scenario downside analysis’;
  • in the event of a call on an obligation provided under its products, allow NFG Capital to positively trade out of the position assumed following a claim against the accepted commercial obligation; and

In the provision and operation of its products, NFG Capital shall ensure that no breach arises in respect of its financial obligations to investors and lenders, including any covenants established under NFG Capital’s treasury policy in support of its finance & treasury strategy
